Analysis 4

    This front cover is from a popular rock magazine, Q. The colour scheme is very vivid, with mixtures of red, black and white. The picture of Cheryl Cole is very central and a close up head shot. The masthead stands out as its a large font in the top left corner and is a bright colour.

However some fonts on the front could be larger as some of the cover stories are too small to read. As a consequence of the front cover stories being small it may not be as eye catching on the shelf in as shop as other rock magazines are.

The photo is clearly an edited studio shot. Her make up represents the genre as its dark on the eyes with bright lipstick. 

I like the style of this front cover and would probably use this colour scheme and style on my front cover  as it looks professional and smart.
